We recently received an email from a customer who had recently redecorated their farmhouse. When they took up the carpet in the dining room they found it was a Firth Emperor Axminster carpet!
It has been there for at least the 30 years they have lived there and potentially a lot longer. Whilst we don’t know exactly when it was installed this specific range of carpet was manufactured in the late 1960s /early 1970s. Due to the exquisite quality of a Firth carpet, they decided to relay this historic piece rather than get a new carpet. We know it will serve them for many years to come!
