Standing the test of time

We recently received an email from a customer who, when redecorating their farmhouse, took up the carpet in the dining room to find it was a Firth Emperor Axminster carpet. It has been laid down for at least the 30 years they have lived there for, and potentially a lot longer as we don’t know when it was actually installed, however this specific range of carpet was manufactured in the late 1960s/early 1970s. Due to the exquisite quality of a Firth carpet, they thankfully decided against getting a new carpet, and have relaid this historic piece to serve them for many years to come.
